Welcome to another edition of Common Ground Online. Here's what's in this week's edition:
- Truehope Conference Call this Thursday February 1st
- Last Chance to Purchase "These Painted Wings"
- Caffeine & EMPowerplus
TOPIC: Common Questions and Straight Answers
Making the decision to use EMPowerplus is not always an easy one. Many participants have questions like how EMPowerplus works, why it works, and how to maximize results.
In this month’s conference call you’ll get straight answers to several of the most commonly asked questions about Truehope and the EMPowerplus program. Co-founders Tony Stephan and David Hardy will walk you through these questions and provide solid answers. If you've ever had any of the following questions, then this call is for you.
- What makes EMPowerplus different from other multi-vitamin products?
- Why is EMPowerplus so expensive?
- What is the current status of EMPowerplus research?
- How/why does EMPowerplus work?
- When can I expect to see results?
- Why are there complications when taking EMPowerplus with psychiatric medications?
- Why doesn't my doctor know about EMPowerplus?
Don't miss the opportunity to listen to Tony and David explain the answers to each one of these questions. Our goal is to help you learn and understand the EMPowerplus program. What better way to learn than to hear it from the two men who started it all? Take a moment now to reserve your spot on the call.

"These Painted Wings" is going out of print! But not for long. HarperCollins Canada has acquired the right to publish my story and will re-release it in Canada under a new name and cover in the fall of 2007. A date for release in the United States has not yet been set.
Thank you to all who have purchased my book and allowed me to share my story and the story of the Truehope discovery with you.
Less than five hundred copies of the Special Edition (with photos) are left. To comply with requests from the publisher, all unsold copies must be removed from the market on February 28, 2007. Final copies will be available online until February 28 for a reduced price of U.S. $14.95 plus shipping at www.ThesePaintedWings.com. All profits will continue to support the Shinah House project – developing effective transitional housing for those who seek mental health through natural means.
Thank you for your support!
Autumn
We are often asked what effect caffeine has on mental health and the use of EMPowerplus. To answer this question, one must first understand that caffeine is a Central Nervous System (CNS) stimulant, which means that it can weaken the balance of elements critical in the function of the CNS.
Research shows that excessive caffeine intake can actually make depressive symptoms worse! For example, in a study using depressive patients who were consuming 750mg or more of caffeine per day, 50% showed severe depression as rated on the Beck Depression Scale. These scores were significantly higher than low or moderate users of caffeine in the same population.1 According to the National Institute of Health, a moderate intake of caffeine would be 250mg per day or less.
Our experience has shown that heavy consumers of caffeine generally respond slower to the program and may not realize the full healing potential of EMPowerplus. If you are making the transition to EMPowerplus and are a heavy consumer of caffeine, then we recommend setting a goal to reduce and/or eliminate your caffeine consumption. Doing so will allow EMPowerplus to work faster and more effectively for you.
