In this month’s conference call, Truehope co-founders Tony Stephan and David Hardy discussed the ways that you can include your doctor in your decision to use EMPowerplus.
There are many doctors who use EMPowerplus in their practices and who openly support EMPowerplus and Truehope. However, there are more who simply do not know enough about EMPowerplus or how it works to recommend it. Tony and David address this concern and tell what Truehope is doing and what you can do to educate your doctor in the use of EMPowerplus.
Tony and David also discuss the fact that independent university researchers continue to work hard to prove that EMPowerplus truly is a safe and effective treatment for many mental health disorders.
The following is a list of questions which, among other issues, were addressed during the conference call:
- Is there any research on EMPowerplus? Are there research studies going on now?
- Is EMPowerplus safe?
- Is there a doctor's protocol that I can give to my doctor?
- Are there any doctors actively using EMPowerplus as a treatment option for their patients?
- Is there a doctor who is familiar with the use of EMPowerplus that would be willing to talk to my doctor?
- If my doctor is unwilling to work with EMPowerplus, can I find a doctor in my area that is?
- Can I still use EMPowerplus without my doctor's cooperation?

We have just entered the most miserable season of the year - cold and flu season. Many of you will soon be coughing, sneezing, and aching all over. Most of the time the symptoms of a cold or flu are relatively minor and simply require more rest and plenty of liquids. Occasionally, however, symptoms can become severe and infections can occur, requiring the use of an antibiotic to kill the infection and provide relief.
If you feel that your symptoms are severe enough to warrant a visit to the doctor, have your doctor first test for a bacterial infection. If it turns out that you have nothing more than a serious viral infection, then no amount of antibiotics will do any good in fighting the illness. Some doctors will prescribe an antibiotic without testing, but the problem with this approach, and especially for Truehope Participants, is that antibiotics will wipe out many bacteria in the gut, both good and bad. This can leave you with a severely compromised digestive system which in turn will significantly reduce your body's ability to properly absorb EMPowerplus.
If you must take an antibiotic, then you should increase your dose of EMPowerplus during the full course of the treatment. With the reduced efficiency of your digestive system, an increased dose of EMPowerplus is required to maintain your mental health at the level it was before the illness.
