Deal with Bowel Issues & Maximize the Benefits of EMPowerplus

Digestive problems and bowel issues are a major source of concern and frustration for many Truehope Participants. If it's not cramping and diarrhea, its cramping and constipation. What causes these conditions? There are many factors including diet, genetics, over-use of laxatives or diarrhea medication, or simply the use of many different types of prescription medications, which can produce either condition. Whatever the cause, here are some suggestions to help you cope:

Diarrhea

We have found that our calcium supplement, Truehope BMD works extremely well for most types of diarrhea. Take two tablets three to six times daily on an empty stomach and drink plenty of water. You can purchase Truehope BMD online at myTruehope.net or by calling the Truehope order desk.

Some people also experience relief using digestive enzymes (found at your local health food store).

Food suggestions? Green bananas, cheddar cheese, peanut butter, mangoes, papayas and applesauce are all good choices. Stay away from most dairy products (some cheese and yogurts can be tolerated), high fat foods, extremely high fibre foods (fibre can worsen diarrhea), and caffeinated beverages (coffee, tea & colas). Always drink plenty of water.

Does having diarrhea reduce the effectiveness of EMPowerplus? Absolutely. If you're using EMPowerplus and you have consistent diarrhea then much of what you're taking is being flushed out with the diarrhea. Your body cannot effectively use what it cannot keep in the digestive system. Controlling diarrhea will allow your body to properly absorb EMPowerplus.

Constipation

Eat plenty of foods high in dietary fibre such as whole grains, vegetables, fruit, nuts and seeds. We have found that flax seeds and flax seed oil work particularly well for constipation.

Caution! Avoid the use of laxatives if at all possible. Over-use of laxatives can weaken the bowel and cause you to become dependent on their use.

As with diarrhea, constipation can also affect the proper absorption of EMPowerplus. Getting your constipation under control will allow EMPowerplus to work at its best.

 

Overview of Recent Conference Call

In our most recent Truehope conference call on August 3, David Hardy discussed the recent court victory for Truehope in Canada. The judge cleared Truehope of any wrong-doing and acquitted Truehope on the charge of selling a drug with out a proper Drug Identification Number (DIN). Health Canada had tried on several occasions to stop EMPowerplus from coming across the border but Truehope persisted, believing that many participants were dependent on EMPowerplus for their mental well-being. The judge, Gerald Meagher, agreed saying that Truehope acted how any reasonable company would have acted if faced with a similar decision. Judge Meager went so far as to say that in the interest of safety, Truehope has a legal obligation to continue providing support and access to EMPowerplus for participants in Canada.

Later in the call, the issue of Protracted Withdrawal was addressed once again. David gives more insight into this debilitating condition and offers real suggestions to help deal with the symptoms.
